After the conference sessions, we highly recommend you to explore the wonderful city of Stockholm. There are plenty of activities and attractions near the conference area and the city center is only a few minutes away by commuter train. Stockholm – the capital of Scandinavia

Mall of Scandinavia
Regardless of if you want to shop, eat or have a good time with your friends, Mall of Scandinavia is the place to be. Here, at the largest shopping mall in northern Europe, you get the best of fashion, sports, décor and technology. There is a large selection of restaurants with food from all over the world. Mall of Scandinavia also houses Sweden’s first IMAX cinema, the largest cinema screens in the Nordic region and many activities such as mini golf, VR gaming and bowling. Haga Park
At walking distance from the conference area lies Haga Park. On its 144 hectares, you do not only find lovely lakes, gardens and woods but also Haga Palace – the home of Crown Princess of Sweden Victoria – and pavilions from the 18th century. You can also visit the restaurant in the peculiar Copper tents as well as the Butterfly House Haga Ocean that, among other things, holds one of Scandinavia’s largest shark aquariums. ABBA the Museum and Swedish Music Hall of Fame
The music, the clothes, the lyrics, musicals, and films of ABBA have been gathered in Stockholm and are on display in a permanent exhibition. Moreover, entry to Swedish Music Hall of Fame is included. Here you get to experience “the Swedish music wonder”. You can book your ticket in advance on the website.

Depeche Mode at Friends Arena (May 5th)
Early arrival? A few days before World Anti-Bullying Forum Depeche Mode performs at Friends Arena next to Quality Hotel Friends. Depeche Mode is one of the modern music’s most influential bands and now they are heading out on their Global Spirit Tour. Get your tickets here

Gamla stan (Old town)
Gamla Stan, the Old Town, is one of the largest and best preserved medieval city centers in Europe, and one of the foremost attractions in Stockholm. This is where Stockholm was founded in 1252. There are plenty of sights here, such as Stockholm Cathedral, the Royal Palace including its many museums and the Nobel Museum. Phantom of the Opera at Cirkus (May 7th)
Andrew Lloyd Webber’s fantastic musical The Phantom of the Opera, known from Broadway and West end, has made it to Stockholm. Ariana Grande at Friends Arena (May 8th)
Ariana Grande is the world famous singer and receiver of several awards such as MTV Music Video Award and Teen Choice Award. May 8th, she begins her Europe tour at Friends Arena next to Quality Hotel Friends. You can buy tickets here.

Travel information

Stockholm Arlanda Airport
Stockholm-Arlanda Airport is located 40 kilometers (25 miles) north of Stockholm City.

Commuter trains (operated by the public transport company in Stockholm, SL) to Solna station depart twice an hour from Arlanda Central Station in Sky City. Total travel time between the airport and Stockholm Central Station is 36 minutes.

The Arlanda express train takes you from Arlanda Airport to Stockholm city center. The platform is easily accessible, underneath the arrival terminals. Departure: every 15 minutes (for most of the day). Travel time: 20 minutes. From Stockholm city center commuter trains departures to Solna Station.

Flygbussarna Airport Coaches departs every 10-15 minutes between Arlanda Airport and the Stockholm City Terminal (located next to the Central Station). Travel time to Arlanda: 35-45 minutes. From Stockholm city center commuter trains departures to Solna Station.

Taxi
Taxi services are available at Stockholm Arlanda Airport. Travel time: Stockholm Arlanda Airport: app 40 minutes, depending on time of day. Please note: Taxi fares in Sweden aren’t regulated, which means that prices can vary significantly between companies.
